FWIW...[b] this may be a known fact but Ubereats jacks the prices WAY up.[/b] Example - I considered ordering Uber eats because they frequently have BOGO on certain items at a neighborhood place we like. It's like a 7 minute walk so DH and I decided to walk down there and see if it made sense to order online and get the BOGO or just order from the restaurant. Ubereats was 50% more expensive... for instance $12 in the restaurant at $18 in the app... yes, if we went with the BOGO we'd save money but that restricted what we could order AND meant we'd both have to get the same thing.

If you didn't know this you're not the brightest bulb.  Of course they jack the price up.  That's common knowledge.

We don't use it often but if my kid (who can't yet drive) is home alone he will sometimes order it.  Yes, it's a huge rip off but it is what it is.  Convenient. You pay for that. [/quote]
