This is OP. My child’s been working on it all year. Yes we do flashcards. Math work now is starting to require and assume multiplication is down pat so I’m looking for other ways and other feedback. Thanks “100 problems PP” for the post! I’m going to start doing Minute challenges. 20 problems of 0-6 or maybe even just 0-5 in a minute. The 6s and 8s seem trickiest for my child for some reason. This morning’s practice said 4X6=36 three different times! So I guess that one was mismemorized. [/quote]

A tip to help her with 6s - when you multiply 6 by an even number, the answer will end in the same number: 
6x2=12
6x4=24
6x6=36
6x8=48

Actually, looking at this set, the 1st digit of the answer is 1/2 of the multiplier, although that pattern gets more complicated for multi-digit multipliers. [/quote]
