Wanted to add... My kids friends are usually coming to our house after school for projects or hanging out for the day. Most of the times these are proper hot meals. No high schooler is coming to my house for bag of chips or gummy bears for sure. These are teen boys and they are eating huge amounts. Other than that, none of them are drinking soda at my house because we just do not keep soda. I only have fresh squeezed orange juice (if I have oranges on hand)s or coconut water from costco. And of course they can have my green tea. My dessert offerings are also just greek yogurt with berries, almond cookies, banana nut bread or icecream drumsticks from costco.
