Hi. I was on metformin for about a month and it really suppressed my appetite. I had trouble meeting my calorie goal (per Noom) and really didn't lose any weight. About to get zepbound if I can find it .and wondered about the folks who are successfully losing. Noom keeps telling me I am not eating enough and going into starvation mode. I find that hard to believe. For those on zepbound, are you eating close to your calorie goal? Much lower?
I would find it difficult without protein shakes. Consensus is Fairlife tastes the best and can be had for $21.99/case at Costco and BJ’s although they are frequently out of the chocolate. Another helpful tool is Quest protein chips. They taste pretty good and have low carbs and lots of protein, of course. Plus, they are chips. :-) I make a point to eat real food every dinner, with a focus on protein. You gotta get your 100G of protein (average daily). Lifting weights helps also, and I do it, but I hate lifting weights more than anything else in the world!
