The murals were done by a person brought in from Texas. [b]The graphics that entirely cover the 2nd floor windows eliminate a great deal of natural light to the library. Additionally the teacher who ran a weather station used to gather data from looking out those windows but could no longer do so once the visibility was so drastically reduced.  But hey - as long it looks good on the outside, right? [/b][/quote]

Interesting. So “sprucing up the place” doesn’t always mean “better”. Those humongous graphics are more of a thing in California and Texas, so perhaps the principal was inspired by that culture if she’s from there. However, the graphics are usually painted on an exterior wall so they don’t cover up the windows. [/quote]
