Me too, OP!!! There’s curvy and busty in a good way that some of the PPs imagine you are and are chiding you for not being grateful, OP, and then there’s actually having a large chest. I’m guessing if you are actually posting this you are probably like me and way beyond “feminine curve” territory and into “matronly bosom and no clothes fit” territory, like me. I’m a 34DDD and buy size 10-12 tops and dresses to alter down to fit the rest of my size 4, short waisted body. I haven’t been able to wear anything on-trend or cute since I was in the 8th grade. Every trend is just a reminder that clothes are made for skinny, flat-chested people- when slip dresses, camisoles and spaghetti straps came back recently it was a flashback to all of the outfits I couldn’t wear in college and high school. Don’t get me started about exercise. My friends go for a run and wear a cute tank with a built-in shelf bra and can stay in it for the rest of the day. If I go for even a powerwalk I’m in a panache monstrosity with another pullover bra on top and covering the whole thing with whatever top I buy in bulk because it actually fits. And even if I work out all of the time, I look like a muscled little gnome, not a lithe athletic woman.
LOL another 34 ddd/e here. I’ve accepted panache and wacoal and whatever other miracles of engineering we subject ourselves to and I just enjoy my body. It’s healthy, it produced and nourished my children, and it’s just time to stop punishing myself for things I have no control over. No I will never be lithe or waifish or whatever else but when I look in the mirror in a bra and underwear my body is attractive to me and I find the clothes that look good even if I am stuck shopping at stores like talbots a lot.
