Don’t get me started about exercise. My friends go for a run and wear a cute tank with a built-in shelf bra and can stay in it for the rest of the day. If I go for even a powerwalk I’m in a panache monstrosity with another pullover bra on top and covering the whole thing with whatever top I buy in bulk because it actually fits. And even if I work out all of the time, I look like a muscled little gnome, not a lithe athletic woman.[/quote]

I’ve accepted panache and wacoal and whatever other miracles of engineering we subject ourselves to and I just enjoy my body.   It’s healthy, it produced and nourished my children, and it’s just time to stop punishing myself for things I have no control over.

No I will never be lithe or waifish or whatever else but when I look in the mirror in a bra and underwear my body is attractive to me and I find the clothes that look good even if I am stuck shopping at stores like talbots a lot.  [/quote]
