My son has a 4.5 weighted gpa which is meaningless to me. if you look at his unweighted it is 3.8 or something like that. It is very confusing when you look online and they say the average gpa is xxx…are they talking weighted or unweighted?! I think there are loads of options out there for you kid OP. Do research on which schools have great programs in your child’s field of interest! So many untapped resources out there these days if people only focus on east coast “name brand” schools.
