[/quote] No. If they are Floridian they are filing federal taxes as a Florida Resident and pay local property taxes for the Florida county that they live in if they are a property owner. Now that I think of it I think veterans are exempt from our local property taxes state wide in Florida. We passed a new law to that effect. I'm not sure if active duty personnel have to pay local property taxes in Florida that the rest of our civilians have to. They may be exempt due to the new law for veterans.[/quote]
