Couple of thoughts - the interview where JB discussed his characters motivations wasn’t great but it wasn’t awful either - in the scheme of things it was a non event compared to the on going blunders made by BL. The judge seemed to be echoing earlier thoughts that we had discussed. Defending oneself isn’t retaliation. I’m not a lawyer but I think most of BL’s legal case gets tossed. Regardless, BL is an awful person and is not going to recover from this. I saw a poll on TMZ and it split on Swifts involvement. She may be able to lay victim once again.
The part of the hearing that I found most interesting was Thor the judge realizes the bulk of the claims were not conventional harassment claims but disagreements about how scenes with intimacy should be filmed. I found this interesting because several posters here have been unable to grasp that. He mentioned creative freedom, and seems to be pondering whether nudity rider and other contractual remedies are a better vehicle for such disputes than sexual harassment laws.
