I agree, white men are rarely called aggressive, they are called assertive.

Assertive is a much better term to describe Wendy's personality!  She is well spoken and doesn't attack, but she is strong and forceful. "having or showing a confident and forceful personality."

But Candiace was being aggressive.  She is needling the girls, she is trying to provoke. "ready or likely to attack or confront; characterized by or resulting from aggression. pursuing one's aims and interests forcefully, sometimes unduly so."[/quote]
