I voted against Trump three times. I don't like the double standard here but I can understand why it exists. Trump has always been the chaos candidate/chaos president. Saying crazy things is part of his brand. And he floods the zone with so much crap that no one thing he says leaves much of a lasting impression. It's been less than a week since he said he was glad Mueller had died and nobody is talking about that anymore.

Biden, on the other hand, ran on a platform of being sane and competent. It worked for him in 2020 but for anybody who watched the Trump-Biden debate that year and the one in 2024 his decline was obvious. And that one bad debate made such an impression because his unscripted public appearances were so limited.[/quote]
