No, it's not. MDU isn't making the playoffs this year but "could" in the above format.

In the current format, the scheduling makes far more impact where some teams play easier and some play harder. Pride is finishing 7-1 but only played 1 "top" team and lost.

A PP pointed out that Coppermine/Hero's/Crush could wind up with the 4th seed. Neither of those 3 teams are a 4 seed. Right now those are the 3 best teams and could all finish 7-1.[/quote]
