Che is such a talentless narcissist. And she and Miranda have no chemistry. Cringe-o-rama.
I hate this couple and I'm not interested in them at all. I also think it's so sad and shallow that Miranda just jumped headlong into a serious relationship (moving across the country) with no time to process the end of her 20+ year partnership with the father of her child. And the show just treats like it is fine and hysterical and look at her try a strap on. I get that the show wanted to bring in more representation, but they should have introduced another couple.
If they wanted to make this at all believable, they should have had Miranda divorced from Steve already. I think the way it's set up is simply a story arc for Miranda, which, fine. I admit I haven't watched S2 episodes yet, but I find it a little surprising that no one has had a conversation with Miranda about exactly what you said above - aren't these supposed to be her longtime best friends?
Agree. They could have done some of the scenes in the first season, where they are watching TV on the couch and her being bored via flashbacks. It would’ve made much more sense for them to launch the new series with her getting over a divorce, and it would’ve made her much more sympathetic. Now she just seems desperate and pathetic. Also, if I thought my son was suicidal, I don’t think I would go enjoy a sitcom taping even if I had a plan to go home later. And she knew she couldn’t have her phone…. She was expecting his call, why would she go in? Everyone on that set thought she was an a-hole, so I assume it’s no surprise the audience also thought she was in a-hole. I don’t get why they’re making a main character so unlikable.
