Another American socialist here. We are usually the first to recognize how futile war is, and how it feeds a corrupt industrial military complex, but I agree with this. I'm certainly not advocating that the U.S. declare war against Russia right now, but I think that we have to realize that if we sit here, being cowed by the threat of nukes, then Putin is going to use that threat as a cover to help him advance across all of Europe and eventually to our borders.[/quote]
