Op here: my dad grew up wealthy as his dad started the family business. My mom grew up in a middle class family. Both of my parents went to college; my dad went to Brown University and my mom went to [b]Salve Regina[/b]. My grandparents moved here from Sicily before my dad was even born.[/quote]

OP here: I didn't struggle at all or have any learning disabilities although I did "struggle" my junior year of high school just because I got way too focused on my high school boyfriend and friends and kind of slacked off on work.

I honestly don't know why she is so focused on money and wealth but it's how she's always been. She's always cared about having the nicest cars and purses and clothes and has always looked down on people that she feels are "beneath her". My dad is the complete opposite and doesn't make it obvious at all that he comes from and has money, he's very humble. [/quote]
