The young woman was very chatty. She saw I had been sitting there for a long time and asked if I was still waiting. I told her I was with a friend and she said that was nice, that her boyfriend had to work so he couldn't be there with her. She talked more about where she lived, what she was studying, etc. She seemed very sweet. After a while she went in for the ultrasound and then returned to the waiting room and talked some more. Once it was clear what she was there for, I said "sorry you're going through this." She smiled and said "it's fine. It's my choice, you know?" As I said before, I didn't judge her at all. I just wish my friend could have been that at peace with her decision before going through the procedure. [/quote]

I never associated the abortion with future infertility.  (That's your Freudian leap.) She could still have plenty of infertility problems irrelevant to the abortion, and live to regret the day she had it.[/quote]

She may have infertility issues, she may be dying inside, she may be Jesus Christ reincarnated, she may be made entirely of string cheese....  What is the point of making up a back story for this woman?[/quote]
