To be fair, the legal system did step in and was requiring him to leave the home.

The only other level of protection is an order of protection and guess what? It literally does not protect you. I know. I'm a DV survivor that was stalked - footprints to my apartment in the snow kind of stalking and the police said they could do nothing until he took action against me aka he tried to kill me.

So there is nothing a court can do to protect a woman.[/quote]
