The lone Republican is trashing the actions of the Democrats to play to his base, like he does with every single issue or item that comes up for a vote.  What a surprise. There were three Democrats on the School Board who voted against the KAA acquisition.  One of them - Sizemore-Heizer - is now on the Board of Supervisors.

Meren is afraid of losing students from SLHS to Skyview and is focused on equity. She said at one meeting that the new school isn't equitable because it is nice and new and that isn't fair to schools that are older. Apparently any new school that is built in the future needs to be built so that it looks old and used? She should have actually voted no if she wasn't in favor of the school but chose to abstain instead. Not exactly bravely standing up for her position. [/quote]
