[/quote] Thank you for humanizing diversity and making it a worthwhile factor for college students to consider. Just like gender, or weather, or rankings or any other factor that a student may decide could be pertinent to their college decision. It’s so interesting to hear its dismissiveness from others. I went to a very non diverse college and then a very diverse grad school. The vibes and environment are completely different. Think small town USA versus big metropolis. After experiencing the latter, I could never do that undergrad experience again. So if students are getting that global diverse view in high school, I completely understand “shopping” for that in college.[/quote]
