America is about the only place in the world where diversity in college is a consideration. The overwhelming majority of the top academic institutions in other countries are racially homogenous and yet they are still able to learn despite the lack of classmates with different colored skin. it's astounding.
What an absurd and patently false assertion.
DP. China would like a word.
/Europe ex England has joined the conversation. Once you leave british commonwealth countries and America, the top universities are extremely racially homogenous but there is still a lot of diversity. And if it weren't for asians, even the british commonwealth countries would be pretty homogenous There is more economic diversity because the admissions are largely test based without much weight given to legacy, country club sports, and expensive extra-curriculars.
