It's a massive barrier. Alcohol is worshipped in our culture. If you drink, you will quickly find yourself isolated. And people either assume you are a recovering alcoholic or just boring.  [/quote]

Oh please. Of our neighborhood group of 15 couples, I'd say at least 5 people don't drink (so 1/6 of the group). Another 10 of us drink occasionally. So only half the group drinks every time we're hanging out. No one cares.[/quote]
