Even Rand Paul thinks his parade is bad optics. It wasn't going to he a waste of tax payer dollars in the style of North Korea till Trump and the Navy and Marine Corps celebrations, also this year, are not planned as parades like this. US armed services parades that honor military usually focus on the people rather than this weird spectacle on the tax payer dollar. What is weird is for any US citizen to embrace a parade that goes against our traditions and Democratic ideas.

Also, taken with the current administration actually screening our military for political affiliation to attend Trump's Fort Bragg parade. We are not North Korea so why is our leadership acting like it? [/quote]
