Yes, but you have to get a free NGO lawyer to fill out of the Freebie Form for you first. Then they pick you up in a Coach bus and you're on your way. Be sure to include as many extra family members as possible. You're going to America![/quote]

This feels like pretty much what is happening. They claim asylum to come in "legally" then set up a life here (not only talking about this family with the medical issue) and then they claim they can't possibly leave because they now have a life here and often us citizen children. It's a ridiculous system and we have to change it. And as sad as this story is, US taxpayers are not responsible for providing free healthcare to her for the remainder of her life, which is what will happen if she stays. No other western country would take in an indigent child and agree to provide him or her free extensive healthcare for life. The US can't do this either and we need to stop pretending otherwise when we have US citizens who cannot afford their own healthcare and are forced into bankruptcy due to exorbitant healthcare costs while taxpayers cover this child for free. It's not right. [/quote]
