I've known Chris Van Hollen since the mid-90s when I worked with him at the General Assembly. He is the real deal. This is because he cares, and it's not a political stunt. The US government did something horribly wrong and he's trying to fix it.
Seems he cares more for illegal aliens than citizens who are his constituents.
He cares that the US government is doing illegal things and he loves his country enough to try and fix that. We inherited due process from British Common Law. Isn't that white enough for you to try to defend?
Garcia was seen by an immigration judge in 2019 and then an appeals court. How much due process does one man need?
All of the same due process as anyone else. That’s a pretty simple answer. Did you not think of that obvious truth?
That answer makes no sense. You wanted him to have due process. He was seen by two immigration judges including an appeals court already. That’s the due process.
This administration has admitted the deportation to El Salvador was a “clerical error.” Please explain how being deported to a foreign prison because of a paperwork snafu and then left to rot there even when the error was caught amounts to due process?
