My parents are baby boomers and when they got married in their 20s so did their friends. Nobody had kids yet so this wasn't a huge issue of not inviting every kid they knew. Their siblings were close in age and didn't have many kids yet either. Plus the weddings were local. Times have changed. But it's unrealistic that every wedding can include entire families.[/quote]
