The best thing that could happen for America would be mandatory national service for 18-20 yo. where everyone is scrambled up and living with people totally different from them. That was one of the under-appreciated effects of WWII. Men who had previously only lived in their particular ethnic enclave were suddenly exposed to the rest of the country. [/quote]
