I think there is a need to exercise caution and restraint. I hear stories like this from the University of Oregon:

Look I get it - the University is doing the right thing. But how is it that a guy with a career dealing with young people - some of whom suffer from significant mental health issues - telling people to jump off a bridge if they voted for Trump?

My guess is that the guy will regret not observing boundaries and will regret his career his toast. The immaturity is remarkable. Ought to be a warning to all.

I am sure some will state his rant is justified. Really? Worth losing your job over in an academic market that is shrinking, especially in his field of Greek student relations with some schools abandoning Greek life.
