She’s going to bring back the young voters - super fun and smart!
“You’re just like that girl who is a little messy and likes to party and maybe says some dumb things sometimes,” Charli XCX said of the term in a TikTok video. “Who feels like herself but maybe also has a breakdown. But kind of like parties through it, is very honest, very blunt. A little bit volatile. Like, does dumb things. But it’s brat. You’re brat. That’s brat.” haha Kamala admits she does dumb things and parties and says dumb things, that’s brat. Is it too late to get Joe back?
I’m not sure this party girl strategy is smart. I’d like Warren and AOC and Porter vibes.
+ 1 I really like Elizabeth Warren and I am sad I can’t vote for her for president. I don’t want to vote for a brat.
I voted for Warren in the 2020 primary and I was glad to get to. And now I’ll be glad to vote for Harris in the 2024 general, and since Warren gave Harris a rousing endorsement, you should be glad too instead of spinning off into right wing tones like you are.
I’m so sick of this. Dems were attacking me (haven’t voted GOP in 30 years) earlier in the year because I said Biden was too old and wouldn’t win. I’m the first pp and questioning if this strategy will work. In the past, we’ve had nerdy, straight-talking women show up with receipts, who garnered a lot of praise and votes. It’s not right wing to wonder if a “party girl” is a winning strategy since I for one don’t effing want Trump to win. This shut up and vote is really troubling, i.e. not a winning strategy since I’d like to bring folks over.
No, but it is right wing colluding to fling around labels like “party girl”. I’ll guess about why people might decide to do that — especially with a WOC who also faces criticism for her background as a prosecutor. There are a lot of people who claim that they don’t want Trump to win. Funny that this doesn’t stop them from denigrating the woman who can make that happen. I’m paying attention to the fundraising efforts.
