Could he be gravitating toward JG again? He has move physically close to her house. He recently asked her to come perform for him in a new Netflix show while he directs her. There were photos of him meeting her new boyfriend. He was married to her for over a decade and had 3 kids. He could soon crave her back.
No, he is still good friends with her and respects her as the mother of his kids. His house is close to make it easier to be there for the kids. I think they have a strong bond but not romantic one. She will fight for him to be healthy because she loves him as her children’s dad. I think that’s it between them but they will always be friends. He knows she’s so much better than he deserves.
Agreed. I think they knew early it wasn't a good match early on but tired to work it out for the kids. They love each other but aren't in love with each other. Loads of parents end up like this.
I’m not sure Ben Affleck loves Jennifer Garner. Here’s what he said about being married to her: "I'd probably still be drinking. It's part of why I started drinking … because I was trapped," the Argo director admitted to Howard Stern of feeling unhappy in his marriage to Garner, 49. "I was like 'I can't leave 'cause of my kids, but I'm not happy, what do I do?' What I did was drink a bottle of scotch and fall asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution." I think he has just learned over time that he can be very disrespectful of Jennifer Garner and she takes it.
I don't think that is disrespectful. He was talking about himself. He was feeling trapped in an unhappy marriage. There are hundreds of posts and relationships where that happens. He didn't want to leave because of the kid and so drank to cope. He doesn't say anything about her at all.
... you mean outside of saying he was so miserable being married to her that he became an alcoholic to cope with his unhappiness? that's not exactly the sweet words you hope to hear out of your spouse's mouth.
+1 of course JLo thought she was too special to ever feel this way toward her. At least he left this time rather than drink. He seems to be focused on staying healthy for his kids, which is great. Hopefully he will do the work to figure out why he makes crappy choices in relationships and is not a stable, reliable partner once committed.
