So let me clarify, you’re okay with someone posting Christmas dinner at grandma’s, but not if grandma is throwing a party at the Ritz?
So let me clarify, in your view there are literally no situations on social media that would be bragging?
DP. Nobody said this. But since you asked, my opinion is that posting Christmas dinner with grandma, whether it is at Grandma's middle class house or at her party at the Ritz, would only be bragging if it had the tagline: "My grandma is richer than yours." Otherwise, it is just sharing your happy evening with grandma, which will of course be different for different people. If you can't handle such displays and find yourself frequently offended, it's best to get off of social media, stat. Social media is seriously bad for some people's mental health because it is designed for people to share what they find joyful or positive about their own lives. Your photos displaying a MC or UMC lifestyle, even aspects of it that you take for granted as mundane, might inspire jealousy in people who are financially struggling. Your photos of your babies/kids could be toxic to some who are infertile.
