My college-aged daughter went to her roommate's house for Thanksgiving. She texted this to me from the bathroom during dinner--"Their cranberry sauce is in a bowl and you use a spoon to scoop it out and it has actual cranberries and orange peels in it. Who eats cranberry sauce that isn't in a can shape?"

She was also shocked that they served dinner rolls in a basket with a cloth over it "like a movie or something." No crescent rolls or biscuits from a can to be seen. [/quote]

This reads like a flex but is actually pretty sad. She's in college and hasn't seen cranberry sauce outside of a can or been somewhere where they serve bread with a napkin over it?! Not sure why thus reads like a brag, that's kind of depressing you could be that underexposed. [/quote]
