These charges are pretty necessary unless we just want to forever cede power to a President to do whatever he wants with intel. I mean what's your thought process here? (1) Not charge Trump with improper classified document retention; (2) re-elect him; (3) provide him precedent/cover that there will be no consequences for stealing documents so it's open season for him in his next administration.
