She needs to be allow the full amount of time to recover and then some.
I would feel exactly the same way if Jon Ossoff were screwing up the committee's business with an extended absence.
I’m the PP who revived this thread last week. There is an argument that this could be sexist/ageist because no Democrats were saying this about Fetterman who also took an extended absence from the judiciary committee, until he announced that he would be returning to work today. I still think she needs to go, though.
Or because Fetterman just got elected and his health was a major campaign issue. Dems would not look great doing a flip flop like that so soon after he entered the Senate.
Well his health was an issue during the election and the voters still elected him. He also is not on the judicial committee. The dems need to appoint judges now. Feinstein’s situation makes people remember the RGB self inflected disaster.
Fetterman is indeed on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which makes the parallel to Feinstein direct. It’s been without both of them for months. I’m annoyed at Schumer for putting him on there with health issues, plus I think only lawyers should be on the Judiciary Committee. https://www.congress.gov/member/john-fetterman/F000479
Did you read your own link dumbass?
I did. His committees are Finance [8] Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions [8] Judiciary [6] Commerce, Science, and Transportation [4] Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry
Unfortunately your link is wrong. It conflicts with this: https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/about/members
That poster is listing the committees for bills that he is co-sponsored. The list isn't even complete, because they forgot to click down. Fetterman actually sits on TEN Senate Committees!! Quite impressive! Senate Committee Finance [8] No Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions [8]No Judiciary [6]no Commerce, Science, and Transportation [4]no Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry [3] Foreign Relations [3]no Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs [3]no Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs [2] Armed Services [1]no Rules and Administration
no Wow what a dumba$$. He is on three committees. Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Environment & Public Works WASHINGTON, DC – Pennsylvania U.S. Senator John Fetterman today announced that he will serve on the powerful U.S. Senate Committees on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry; Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs; and Environment & Public Works. He will also serve on the critical Joint Economic Committee and the Special Committee on Aging. Fetterman’s committee assignments put him in a strong position to deliver for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. https://www.fetterman.senate.gov/press-releases/fetterman-to-join-agriculture-banking-aging-and-environment-public-works-committees/
Could you not tell that that post was sarcastically making fun of the previous post?
