Because half the thread is insisting that you are only a Washingtonian if you are born in Washington. That's a legitimate take, but not the point of the thread. That really has/permits no discussion. It's number three that is interesting and merits a discussion. [/quote]

Forgive me, fellow native, but you could stand to work on your reading comprehension. The title of the thread is how you know you've BECOME a Washingtonian. So pretty clearly not about those of us who were born here (most of whom are not trying to be snobby about it).[/quote]
