He’s an embarrassment on several levels. He presides over a joke of a court, a body that has absolutely no sense of legitimacy for most people anymore. Exactly.  That’s precisely what people like the PP would like to see happen.  That way, they can be sure of getting their way 100% of the time.  Who wants to deal with those pesky opposing opinions?![/quote]

Those were not legitimate appointments, imo, but for diff reasons. And it's not b/c they have an "R" next to the appointing president.

I would absolutely like to see them removed. But, I'd prefer no longer any lifetime appointments. Perhaps term limits. And to make changes to the sham confirmation hearings that have become the norm. [/quote]
