As a general rule, many will take goalies 3 out of 4 years on average. So if they take a 24, but didn't do a 23, odds are that they will keep the door open to looking at 25's (but it doesn't mean they are in the market for sure). If they have both 23's and 24's, less likely, but not ruled out on a 25. You should also have an idea of their roster. How many goalies do they usually carry, how many current ones will still be there when your dd would get there, and how do the recruits that are coming rank ? Schools that don't take a 24 are more likely to look at 25's. A good recruiting director should be able to talk to coaches and see if they are in the market, still deciding, or have ruled it out.
