I’m an intuitive and a medium (not the OP).  I am not great at distance readings, but I know a lot of people who are.  Time and space are kind of irrelevant when working with energy.  If a reader can make a connection, you can get a great reading. Pulling cards helps a ton, especially when doing distance readings.  The universe (God, Source Energy, etc) uses the cards to provide messages. The reader interprets the messages. [/quote]

Hi!  I'm the OP.  Do you have any good resources for learning  mediumship and/or relying more on my psychic abilities?  I can do it, and I am trying to practice a bit here, but to really tap in I need to spend 15 minutes quieting my mind and I would like to be able to access that energy faster.  I've looked into the Monroe Institute and would like to take some classes eventually, but my schedule won't let me at the moment.  Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Just seeing this.  Sorry!  There is a group on Facebook called The Lightshine Lab (there is a page and a group).  There are several offshoot groups from the page. There is a ton of free content on the site and on the Facebook pages.  You can get free readings from others as they practice.  When you’re ready, you can go live and practice giving readings as well.  There are also several paid programs.

Mostly, just practice.  Mediumship requires a lot of energy.  And you want to be really, really careful who/what you communicate with.  You are already using your gifts.  Try asking your higher power for an opportunity to channel.  I’ll bet you’ll get your chance very quickly. As soon as you send out that intention, you’ll attract spiritual beings who want to communicate.  It’s like holding a lit candle in a dark room.  They will come to you. [/quote]
