I start some kind of training on August 23th Will I need to prepare the lesson plans or will someone else do it? Interview was just a few questions asking me about how I felt about being in a classroom..:
You should have been assigned a Mentor Teacher to assist in getting you started in the classroom.
I will not be officially in the classroom till September 19th, I was hired today by the principal and now waiting for HR to reach out to me.
Just wait--you'll either have a mentor teacher who is teaching the same grade as you and/or a coach who is a specialist working with multiple resident teachers depending on your particular school's staffing needs. They will help you by providing lesson plans etc. But no one here will be able to tell you precisely your situation because schools differ depending on how many resident teacher/long-term sub positions they have and the workload of the other teachers.
