It’s just seen as terribly gauche. The equivalent to someone who, 30 years later, continues to brag about having been a cheerleader in middle school as if it were the highlight of their life. It’s embarrassing you don’t know your own history. The KKK literally took a big, conspicuous leaf out of Greek life’s book when it was first created. The links between the KKK and early American fraternities isn’t just subtle, it’s overt.[/quote]
