Basically, the kind of enrichment they are likely getting this year in 3rd grade with Benchmark Advanced, Junior Great Books, etc. It obviously depends on the individual school and each teacher/classroom, which is why it would be great if MCPS rolled out the ELC curriculum to more schools, since that is a whole suite of targeted enrichment in ELA designed for kids who need advanced work.
