The order cites 1-240.1, the rallying cry of those espousing parental rights. That interest competes with the interests of other students, teachers and authority of school boards to look out for greater public health interests. Parents’ decisions regarding child do not get to exist in a vacuum and those decisions can’t infringe on the rights of other students and teachers to a safe and conducive learning/school/work environment, something squarely within the purview of local school boards and the districts for which they have oversight.[/quote]

Thank you!  Now let’s hope that lawyers quickly help districts enforce their mandates.  Schools have too much on their plates to be dealing with students who won’t follow the rules.[/quote]

If Youngkins does not get his way he will cut state funding for local areas that do not comply. Nothing says republicans like heavy handed state control.  [/quote]
