I went to W&L (graduated mid 2000s) and there is a direct pipeline to Wall Street from the C School there. Many many kids going into I banking. I know a good number of classmates who are in private equity or at hedge funds. I am not in that industry at all, but it is a known thing and many banks recruit heavily on campus. [/quote]

Why don't you just take the person that will make you the most money?  If that is a W and L grad than great but if another will add more to the bottom line....why not take the money maker?[/quote]
