Actually, Cohen is dishonest too and openly lies to constituents.

For example, she has sent many emails to contituents saying that FCPS is not teaching CRT.

Yet FCPS is touted on a VA .gov site for having developed the CRT curriculum being implemented statewide starting August 2021.  Google The Virginia Inquiry Collaborative. FCPS is recognized by the Virginia Department of Ed in the superintendents memo dated May 21st

Mandatory teacher training on CRT has started this summer, with mandatory reading on how to teach Stamped for 6th-12th graders.

Stamped was taught in some fcps 6th grade classes this past spring without parent notification or permission.  This lesson occured in Laura Jane Cohen's own district, prior to her telling contrituents that fcps does not teach any lessons on CRT.

I am sure there is more.

Either she is the most incompetent leader to ever run anything.  OR Laura Jane Cohen is a bold face liar.

If she believes in what she is putting in place in our schools, she needs to own it and be open and transparent that she is advocates for and has implemented CRT teachings in our schools, all the way down to elementary schools.  If she cannot be open about what she and fcps is doing to the curriculum in our schools, including her local elementary schools that she represents, then she is too deceitful to serve on the school board.

Either way, incompetence or deceipt, Laura Jane Cohen needs to be recalled and removed from the school board.[/quote]
