Real wasp style is nothing special. Kind of frumpy honestly. I guess part of my family is the closest thing in this area (12th generation from Georgetown/nova, 100% English, belong to all sorts of random dog/horse/social clubs).
100% this. God love them, many of the WASP women I know would rather spend time at the barn than going to a tailor, hairdresser, etc. Lots of their clothes are fine, but nothing special. They do tend to be thin/slim/athletically built, which helps. But I mean this just isn’t a stylish aesthetic. It’s boring, expensive (at least it was when they bought it 10+ years ago), simple. Hair is not fussy, most often shoulder length or chin length. Makeup is minimal or nonexistent except at big do’s, when they might wear mascara and random lipstick they happen to have in the drawer.
