Whereas Ivy League admissions is more about singularity, leadership, and taking initiative. Not mutually exclusive, of course. But I don’t necessarily see many of the very bright young students at my DC’s Catholic K-8 aiming for an Ivy. The school really teaches them in an explicit way to be like everyone else, not to stand out. Nothing wrong with that at all. [/quote]
