This is wholly unacceptable and infuriating if true.  This was a violent assault that should have been reported to the police immediately.  Shame on FCPS if it wasn’t reported to the police right away.  Shame on FCPS for waiting until the knew they were going to be outed by the news before informing parents.  These kids should be arrested.  I saw one FCPS representative interviewed by the news say that the victim was “ok”.  Perhaps the victim is physically ok, but there is no way he is psychologically ok — I wouldn’t be ok if I was attacked in the workplace the way the victim was at school.

Imagine if you went to the bathroom at work and were attacked with a dangerous by 3-4 of your colleagues, and then held hostage in the bathroom while tortured by the same colleagues with that weapon, all while other colleagues are laughing and videotaping the incident.  What would you do? If you could, you would beat the #*$& out of your colleagues the minute you could, but most likely you would call the police.

If FCPS didn’t call the police as soon as they understood that a stun gun was used on a student, they failed miserably.

This is incorrect. PARENTS means all OTHER PARENTS of Oakton students. Meaning an email went out to all students' parents in the entire school regarding the incident. The victim's parents knew on the day it happened.[/quote]
