I think everyone is well aware of the issues.  However, there are families there that stay because of how happy their kids are and the quality of the teachers.  Thankfully Boarman is leaving and they can start to turn their reputation around.  [/quote]

I respectfully disagree,  I think people aren't really aware of the just how big the issues are at Bullis.  There seems to be an inside joke that everyone understands about it being new money and the public you pay for, which has always seemed silly and trite to me.  The deep-seated issues  that will really affect your kids (like the financial mismanagement enabled by "cozy" relationships at the head or the really gross bullying problem or the rampant drug problems in the Upper School including using in the classroom or the self-segregation among kids and families or the unhappy teachers) haven't really been mentioned in the retained comments here.[/quote]
