Long moved on from Stars as both of my daughters are older now but I never had this experience with 2 times thru.  If anything, it was the opposite. On top of that, if you want immediate communication after a tryout, you should be at the top of the ranking board. That might require some extra practice time.  Something that a parent and player can personally control, right?[/quote]

I don’t think you get it. People do not want immediate communication after a tryout. They want to find out tryout results in less than two weeks. Or if their daughter tries out at an alternative time than the tryout, then Stars should give some feedback or an idea about when decisions will be made. People email basic questions that should be easy to address and never ever get a reply. More often than not emails go completely unanswered or it takes weeks to get a response.  Times have changed since when your daughters played for Stars. As someone else said, this is a universal complaint, including among Stars families who are committed to the program. [/quote]

I pretty sure I get it but you don't and if this were a universal complaint, wouldn't we have the same opinion.  Maybe look in the mirror and see if there is something wrong? The people from Stars are at the field all the time. They can be reached by phone and they do return emails. If you are getting out of your car and moving toward them and they are running away, I might be able to see your point.[/quote]

Posts like yours, PP, are EXACTLY why we no longer recommend Stars to anyone even though our girls all went through the program.  Yuck.  What a bad example of parenting you are.[/quote]
