We have explained to you how interaction with a large number of TAs who are grad students may have led to her confusion on this issue. 2. It IS an apt analogy. "Your honor" = formal title of respect in place of first name. Dr., Professor, or (in the case of non-professors who might not have a doctorate), Mr. or Ms = formal title of respect in place of first name. [/quote]
