Oswald Mosley was a British fascist who admired Mussolini and Hitler. He created the British Union of Fascists.

The killer calls himself a fascist who mostly agrees with a fascist. Fascists are right-wing authoritarians, so why would he be close to a communist regime? The answer is that, if you look at today's PRC, it is a fascist authoritarian regime just like he admires. While you repeatedly refer to it as "communist", it actually quite capitalist.

Read the manifest. You won't find him supporting any traditionally leftist views. He admires Trump, supports white supremacy, and calls himself a fascist. You really can't get anymore right-wing than that.
